The Glass | Slipper

you know you're living the fairy tale when the glass slipper not only fits... but fits perfectly. [there's a difference] finding the slipper that was designed and manufactured for you unique to your every last wish- is a must on your big day. i couldn't possibly be one of those brides that says, "oh, no-one will look at my feet anyway, ill just get those white ones on sale" ... i DON'T think so. on your big day, a bride needs to look & feel AMAZING... [how can anyone feel (or look) amazing with mediocre shoes on? i think not.]
well... this monday my search begins as amber-lou and i explore the streets of sydney. yes, i am excited, however i am determined to remain acutely focused to find a design that makes my heart sing...
hmm, jean paul gaultier's ss 09 ribbon tied stilettos wouldn't go too far astray...
anyway. *fingers crossed* for monday!

The Perfect | Venue

the secluded south coast... peaceful, picturesque, secluded and the simply divine coastal nature ...& only a 25 minute drive from home! why have i not spent more time with you? hmm.
but no time to linger on that thought... for in you i have found my perfect w.venue! [hooray]

yes yes, this weekend, M & i met with the wonderful scott from 'pearls on the beach' to discuss the possibility of holding our wedding reception at their lovely venue. after hearing about the delicious menu options, the warm welcome for us to personalize the venue exactly as we desire, the ease of the flow & enjoying a perfectly brewed soy latte [thanks scott!] - we were SOLD! Ahhh, finally.
'pearls' is a gorgeous venue located exclusively on pearl beach, with original wooden floor boards, cream wooden walls and ceilings and a cute balcony literally sitting on the ocean front. with a full open view of the stunning shores, we really couldn't have asked for anything more.

after continuing to explore the pearls divine setting, we discovered a beautiful old lookout with a sand stone staircase leading up to a spectacular view of the coastal shores surrounded by lush austrlian nature- photo shoot set? yes please.

we then followed the winding roads on to patonga beach where we decided to stop for lunch at the patonga hotel- the inside has just been restored to its original design... & may i say that it's looking quite spanky! all the sight-seeing left us pretty hungry though... so we paused to enjoy a fabulous meal at the hotel [i definitely recommend a stop here before saying goodbye...] and it was time to head back home. *side note: if you need a little refreshing getaway, this is so the place! it's close to home but you're bound to leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated after just a brief visit*
oooh, how i just adore weddings... [esp. mine!]
-if you can dream it, you can have it.

love | is in the air

six months, three weeks and one day | until OUR big day!
goodness me, w.plans are the most beautiful pass time- not sure where "bridezilla" ever came into being?
i believe a couple's wedding day should be a most treasured celebration of two people's individuality and how perfectly they come to compliment one another...
i am simply thrilled with what i fore-see for our big day...
M being a coastal surfer boy heart and soul- our day will be an ocean setting, relaxed atmosphere, with a rustic and breezy feel. Together with my passion for fashion, vintage treasures and unique character- our day will be themed "rustic vintage", set on the oceans shore with original romantic vintage decor ...think soft tones of pink and ivory, peonies, golden lanterns, paper fans for the ladies and handkerchiefs for the gentlemen.
Every thought and detail making the day perfectly complete.
Ahhh the bliss.

oooh but please, can anyone tell me when it became about stark white chair covers, white tables covers, white curtains and a puffy white dress? -that does not personify anyone. or perhaps a polar bear... but even polar bears are deserving of some magical white snow flakes, right?

anyway, it's time for me to continue taking advantage of the ridiculously large collection of bridal magazines awaiting me...
it's all so fabulously exciting, amazingly busy, dreamily surreal...
until next time | X O X O

in the | beginning

creation. that's where it all began... so that's where i'll begin...
ooh, how i love creativity- the endless new ideas and concepts birthed in the conscious OR un-conscious mind [selah] each avenue completely unique to itself.
is that not reason enough to place value on your creative edge? well it's reason enough for me- thus the BLOG is birthed...
